Parag Rajopadhye is a passionate and accomplished Indian percussionist with over 12 years of experience performing Dhol-Tasha in both India and the USA. His deep-rooted love for traditional Indian drumming has made him a prominent figure in the community, bringing the vibrant and electrifying beats of Dhol-Tasha to a global audience. As the co-founder of SHIVA – Rhythm of India, a BMM award-winning Dhol-Tasha group, Parag has played a pivotal role in its success and recognition. He is the key Tasha player of the group, known for his exceptional skill, precision, and ability to captivate audiences with his powerful rhythms. His expertise and leadership have helped shape SHIVA into a celebrated group that preserves and promotes the rich cultural heritage of Indian percussion.
