One of the most significant events organized by BMM every alternate year, BMM Convention brings together thousands of Marathi people from around the world for a 4 day celebration of Marathi Culture, Language, and Identity.
After 19 years, the BMM Convention comes to the vibrant city of Seattle, a tech hub surrounded by stunning nature!
The BMM Convention 2026 is scheduled to take place at the Seattle Convention Center | Arch Building from August 6th to August 9th, 2026.
The global Maharashtrian community has maintained its cultural identity while integrating into a foreign culture. The Marathi community in Seattle continues to grow and thrive, actively contributing to the city’s dynamic culture and innovation. With the anticipation of BMM2026, we look forward to further strengthening our cultural bonds and showcasing our rich heritage.
The convention aims to bring Marathi-speaking individuals and their families together to connect, celebrate, and enjoy our heritage of art, music, dance, and cuisine.
सिॲटल महाराष्ट्र मंडळ – SMM
Formed on April 27th 1993, SMM is a non-profit charitable organization (501(c)(3)) serving the Greater Seattle population. SMM’s mission is to promote the Maharashtrian cultural ties and tradition within the community, to promote events and activities that help maintain the cultural heritage of Maharashtra, a western state in India.
