✨Video Upload Guidelines✨

Please refer to the video for detailed guidelines. Participants are requested to upload their singing videos only on the specified/published dates.

  1. Age Group Categories:
    • Group A: 8–14 years
    • Group B: 15–21 years
    • Group C: 22–50 years
    • Group D: 50+ years
    • Group G: Group Song
  2. Caption Format: While uploading your video on your/your parent’s Instagram account, please mention:
    • Your Group Name
    • The last 3 digits of your booking code (received after completing your entry for Swarmanch)
      Example: If your age group is 8-14 and your booking code is T90E6E591U, your caption should read: A-91U
  3. Upload & Collaboration Process:
    • Please ensure your video follows all the guidelines shared in the video.
    • After uploading, send a collaboration request to the bmm2026swarmanch page. (Open Instagram account – Upload video- click ‘Tag people’ – Click ‘invite collaborators’ – Select bmm2026swarmanch)
    • Kindly note that collaboration requests will be accepted ONLY on April 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th, after which your video will be visible on our official bmm2026swarmanch page.
    • Kindly note that videos sent to any BMM email IDs, or other BMM social media accounts will not be accepted.

About Competition Rules

नमस्कार मंडळी!

उत्तर अमेरिकेतील अनेक गुणी गायक-गायिकांसाठी आपली कला सादर करण्याची एक सुवर्णसंधी म्हणजे BMM२०२६ स्वरमंच!

सिॲटल येथे ६ ते ९ ऑगस्ट २०२६ ला होणाऱ्या बृहन्महाराष्ट्र मंडळ (BMM) मराठी अधिवेशनात निवडक गुणी कलाकारांना शेकडो प्रेक्षकांसमोर तसेच दिग्गज संगीतकारांसमोर आपली कला सादर करण्याची सुवर्णसंधी आम्ही घेऊन येत आहोत. कलाकारांची निवड अनेक फेऱ्यांमध्ये केली जाईल.

ही स्पर्धा खाली नमूद केलेल्या वयोगटांसाठी खुली असेल:

  • ८-१४
  • १५-२१
  • २२-५०
  • ५०+

वर नमूद केल्याप्रमाणे एकल गायनासह BMM च्या इतिहासात प्रथमच, एकल गायनासह “समूहगीत” (Group Song) ह्या स्वतंत्र स्पर्धेची ओळखही करून देत आहोत. किमान ५ जणांचा गट तयार करा आणि आपल्या उत्साह व जोमासह सज्ज व्हा!

एकल व समूहगीत स्पर्धेत नोंदणी व अर्ज सादर करण्याची प्रक्रिया ३१ मार्च २०२६ रोजी बंद होईल.

Competition Rules:

  1. BMM2026 Swarmanch competition is only and exclusively for singers across North America.
  2. Time Limit: Maximum 3 minutes per performance.
  3. Genre: Marathi Bhaav Sangeet (Bhaav Geet/Bhakti Geet/Abhang).
  4. Song Format: No mashups allowed.
  5. Live Accompaniment: Allowed only if accompanists are visible on video. You may sing without instruments, or along with tanpura. There is no compulsion to use live accompaniment or backing tracks. Instrumentalists or tracks are allowed but not mandatory. Your singing volume should be clear and audible. If using accompaniment or a track, it must not overpower the vocals.
  6. Video Editing: Strictly no video edits, audio enhancements, or processing – raw voice only.
  7. Identification: Authorized Instagram handle of parent/own name.
  8. Entries: One singer = one final entry only.
  9. If you are selected as a finalist, you are required to purchase the BMM2026 registration and attend the BMM2026 Convention in Seattle in person. This is a mandatory condition for participation in the finale.
  10. Each age group may have multiple preliminary rounds, depending on the total number of contestants in that category.
  11. The finale will take place live at the BMM2026 Convention in Seattle, where The Top 3 solo finalists from each age group and The Top 3 group song performers will be invited to perform on stage.
  12. All performances from the first round onward will be personally judged by Dr. Saleel Kulkarni.
  13. The finale will be evaluated by respected and experienced music industry judges with strong musical expertise.
  14. All participants will receive an Appreciation Certificate. Finalists will be awarded trophies, and the Top 3 winners in each category will receive winner trophies.
  15. The judges’ decision will be final and binding, and no further correspondence will be entertained regarding the results.
  16. After receiving the registration form, we will generate a contestant-exclusive code/ID for every participant. Please ensure this code is added when uploading your audition video on social media, as it will be used for official identification.
  17. For the process of uploading your audition video on Instagram, a step-by-step guidance video will be published on our official website at https://bmmseattle2026.org/swarmanch SOON. Please stay tuned.
