• Qualified teams’ final in Seattle: August 6th-9th, 2026

🌎 Who Can Participate?

• Open to all Dhol Tasha Pathaks from North America only.
• The number of participants per team is minimum 12 and maximum 20.
• Each participant must be 12 years or older.
• Only the teams moving forward from the audition round are eligible for the finals competition round to be held in Seattle during the convention.

Welcome to an electrifying celebration of rhythm, unity, and cultural artistry! This year’s Dhol‑Tasha competition finals bring together passionate performers from across the nation to light up the stage with their thunderous beats and vibrant spirit.

🌟 Event Schedule & Highlights

📅 Competition Finals – Friday, Aug 7 & Saturday, Aug 8
Experience two powerful days where teams perform on the Main Stage before thousands of cheering attendees. Celebrity judges and renowned music experts will evaluate each group’s precision, creativity, synchronization, stagecraft, and emotional impact.

🥁 Performance Time:
Each team receives 8-9 minutes to craft an unforgettable moment – blending tradition with innovation, taal variety, storytelling, and their signature sound.

🎉 Grand मिरवणूक / दिंडी – Saturday, Aug 8 Morning
A majestic procession through downtown Seattle! All participating teams will join the Seattle BMM Dhol‑Tasha Pathak for a once‑in‑a‑lifetime rhythmic march that culminates in a grand convention‑center entry. Expect color, energy, and pure sonic magic!

🏆 Awards Ceremony – Sunday, Aug 9
Winners will be honored during the closing ceremony as we celebrate artistry, teamwork, discipline, and cultural pride.

✈️ Travel Planning

• Arrival: Please plan to arrive Aug 6 (first half of the day) or earlier to settle in and rehearse.
• Return: Plan departures for Aug 9 late afternoon or later to fully enjoy the ceremonies and celebrations.

🎼 Performance Preparation

  Teams are encouraged to:

• Build a powerful, original composition blending tradition with fresh interpretations.
• Incorporate taal layers, formations, transitions, and creative visual elements.
• Prepare a 30–45 second team introduction video sharing your vision, mission, achievements, theme, and inspiration – this will play before your performance to set the stage for your moment.
