Bruhan Maharashtra Mandal of North America (“BMM”), a non-profit organization, is holding its biennial Convention in Seattle, Washington, from 6 August 2026 to 9 August 2026 (“Convention”) in collaboration with the Seattle Maharashtra Mandal (“SMM”), a non-profit organization. SMM is playing the host for the Convention, and to prepare for it, SMM has formed a distinct BMM2026 Committee (“Committee”), which has in turn formed several committees to make the preparatory process more efficient.

GENERAL DISCLAIMERS
- All sales are final. All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances unless the event is canceled or postponed. In case of event is cancelled/postponed, we will refund only the actual value of the ticket you purchased and not the service fee.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
All ticket sales support our non-profit mission and are final. We’re unable to offer refunds for customer-initiated cancellations.
In the case of a technical issue resulting in an accidental duplicate purchase, we will refund the ticket price of the duplicate order. However, please note that booking fees are non-refundable, as they are charged by third-party payment processors.
BMM2026 CONVENTION REGISTRATION
RULES AND DISCLAIMERS
“Attendee” refers to a paid attendee at the Convention and shall include any guest staying at any Convention hotel.
“Convention” refers to the 2026 BMM Convention scheduled to be held at the Seattle Convention Center, Seattle, Washington, from 6 August 2026 to 9 August 2026.
“Convention Hotels” refers to those hotels with which Convention Organizers have negotiated discounted room rates for Attendees.
“Convention Organizers” herein shall include, jointly and severally, BMM, SMM, their respective committees, officers, agents, volunteers, employees, representatives, committee members, advisors, and agents.
“Hotel Guest” refers to individuals staying at the hotels with which Convention Organizers have negotiated discounted room rates for Attendees.
“Venue” refers to the Seattle Convention Center (SCC), Seattle, Washington.
- All individuals within the Venue’s physical premises during the convention must be paid attendees, except for kids under the age of 4.
- No children are allowed, on-lap or otherwise, within any of the Venue halls except as authorized.
- Every Attendee entering any hall at the Venue must be eligible to have a seat.
- While Convention Organizers will do their best to avoid such a situation, it is still possible that, due to unexpectedly heavy attendance at a particular program, there may be no seating or standing space available. Convention Organizers regret any such unanticipated inconvenience in advance.
- Convention Organizers have arranged for discounted rooms at Convention Hotels for the benefit of Attendees. However, Convention Organizers shall not be liable to pay for any hotel rooms and any other costs associated with an Attendee’s stay at a Convention Hotel. Every Attendee will be responsible for making his/her hotel reservations and for paying all hotel dues, including all related fees, taxes, and any other costs, including food, drink, entertainment, etc.
- Injury to any person, or damage caused to Venue property or Convention Hotel property due to an Attendee’s willful, wanton, or negligent action shall be the sole responsibility of the Attendee. The Attendee alone shall be liable to pay for any resulting costs. In no event shall Convention Organizers be liable for any such damage or injury.
- Unruly or disruptive behavior on the part of an Attendee may result in ejection from the Venue, the Convention Hotel, and from the Convention itself, at the sole and absolute discretion of the management of the Venue, the Convention Hotel, or the Convention Organizers. The decision of either management or of Convention Organizers shall be final.
- Tickets and entry badges in the name of one Attendee cannot be sold, assigned, or transferred to any other person or third party.
- Convention Organizers assume no responsibility or liability for an Attendee’s health, including for any medical or other emergency. In case of a medical emergency, each Attendee hereby authorizes Convention Organizers to take such action as they deem fit at that time to deal with such emergency. Each Attendee hereby indemnifies Convention Organizers against all claims for any injury, death, costs (including attorneys’ and other expert fees), and other expense, resulting from the action of Convention Organizers.
- An Attendee needing a wheelchair or other assistance shall be responsible for arranging one or more helpers to provide such assistance. Convention Organizers shall not be responsible for providing such assistance. Every helper within the Venue premises shall be required to also be an Attendee.
- Every Attendee shall be responsible for his/her own medical and health needs and is therefore encouraged to get suitable insurance coverage for the duration of the Convention, including for any travel.
- Except as may be otherwise notified, each Attendee shall be responsible for his/her transportation, whether between the airport and a Convention Hotel (both ways), or between a Convention Hotel or elsewhere and the Venue (both ways).
- If possible, Convention Organizers shall attempt to contract with an outside agency to provide a childcare facility for children aged 4 to 12 at the Venue during daytime hours on August 6, 7, and 8, 2026, and until noon on August 9, 2026. Any Attendee using the childcare facility shall be subject to such outside agency’s rules and shall be liable to pay the charges directly to the outside agency. Neither Venue nor Convention Organizers shall be responsible in any manner or otherwise be liable for any injury (including death) resulting from the outside agency’s negligent, willful, or wanton conduct, or any other actions. Convention Organizers are only facilitating this arrangement, and Attendee shall use the childcare facility shall do so at the Attendee’s own risk.
- Convention organizers will provide meals, including dinner on August 6 (Banquet), as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner on August 7 and 8, and breakfast or brunch on August 9, 2026. Attendees who choose to receive meals are responsible for managing their own dietary requirements and restrictions, including allergies. The organizers disclaim any liability or responsibility for any allergic reactions, health issues, or discomfort resulting from the consumption of provided food at the event.
SEATTLE CONVENTION CENTER (SCC) VISITOR CODE OF CONDUCT
- Visitors to the facility must be properly clothed, including shoes.
- Use of, or being under the influence of, any alcoholic beverage or illegal substance is prohibited.
- Loitering, sleeping, or camping within SCC or on the ground is prohibited.
- Smoking is prohibited within the facility.
- Utilization of SCC restrooms for uses other than their intended use is prohibited.
- Skateboarding or rollerblading is prohibited on SCC grounds.
- Bicycle riding is prohibited within the facility.
- Weapons, except as prescribed by RCW 9.41 or RCW 9.41.300, are prohibited.
- Disorderly conduct, harassment, abusive language, or any other activity likely to disturb, disrupt, or interfere with SCC business, its clients, guests, or tenants is prohibited.
- Wading, bathing, or removing coins from fountains is prohibited.
HOTEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- This registration is further subject to the hotel’s terms and conditions of registration and occupancy.
- All hotel guests are advised that hotel common areas are public spaces accessible to others, including fellow guests. The hotel guests are expected to respect the peace and decorum of these shared areas and to use their guest rooms responsibly. By staying at the hotel, each hotel guest is deemed to have agreed to the following conditions, and any violation of these conditions shall be the hotel guest’s sole responsibility.
- The hotel guest shall be liable for any damage to hotel property by such hotel guest or otherwise be solely responsible for any other violation of hotel rules.
- The hotel guest shall be deemed to have indemnified the Committee, SMM, and BMM, along with each of their respective members and volunteers, against all loss or injury suffered and costs incurred (including attorney and other professional fees) resulting from a hotel guest’s actions.
- The hotel guest agrees that should a hotel guest’s violation of these Terms and Conditions or other Rules warrant protection of the rights, property, or services of the hotel or of another guest, the hotel and/or the Committee reserve the right to notify the police and other relevant authorities or otherwise take appropriate remedial measures in their sole and absolute discretion.
- Should the hotel deem that a hotel guest’s health or life is at serious risk, the hotel may seek emergency medical services, including that of an ambulance, in the hotel’s sole and absolute discretion.
- The hotel guest shall be responsible for additional charges/fees, if any, for hotel services such as room service, alcoholic beverages, telephone, food or drink inside hotel premises, internet, gym, swimming pool, etc. Each hotel guest should check the services offered, including the convention registration and the hotel services.
- The hotel guests are strongly urged to regularly check the Convention’s website for any change or update to these terms and conditions, as all such subsequent changes and updates shall be binding on each hotel guest.
- Hotel Room Charges are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable.
