Child Care Team

Namaskar! My name is Gouri Hundlekar, and I am honored to serve as the Chair of the Child Care Committee for the BMM Convention 2026, which we are thrilled to be hosting right here in Seattle.

Originally from Mumbai, Maharashtra, I have been living in the Seattle are since 2014 and now call the city my home. As someone who grew up in Marath-mole Vile-parle and schooled in Parle Tilak Marathi medium shala and who is deeply connected to my Marathi roots, being part of Seattle Maharashtra Mandal (SMM) has given me a sense of community and bunch of friends.

By profession I am analyst and business leader and I currently work at Amazon managing retail business. Outside work I enjoy dancing, hiking, playing with my 6 year old, meeting friends and engaging in cultural activities.

I am critical about creating screen-free, meaningful experiences and memories for children—spaces where they can play, explore, and connect with one another, nature, and our rich heritage. For the upcoming convention, my vision is to offer children a safe, joyful, and enriching environment that feels like a true extension of home—filled with laughter, curiosity, and the spirit of togetherness.

I look forward to working with our dedicated team to make BMM 2026 a memorable and inspiring experience for all our little ones!
