Bruhan Maharashtra Mandal (BMM) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) umbrella organization that was established in 1981. BMM represents more than 50 Maharashtrian organizations across North America in major cities.

One of the most significant events organized by BMM every alternate year, BMM Convention brings together thousands of Marathi people from around the world for a 3 day celebration of Marathi culture, language, and identity.

This organization is dedicated to facilitating communication and fostering collaboration between BMM and Marathi organizations throughout North America. Their vision is to establish a strong and connected community, while their mission is to consistently enhance their operations.

After 19 years, one of the most significant celebrations of Marathi Culture, Customs, and Community – the BMM Convention comes to the vibrant city of Seattle, a tech hub surrounded by stunning nature!

The global Maharashtrian community has maintained its cultural identity while integrating into a foreign culture. The Marathi community in Seattle continues to grow and thrive, actively contributing to the city’s dynamic culture and innovation. With the anticipation of BMM 2026, we look forward to further strengthening our cultural bonds and showcasing our rich heritage.

The convention aims to bring Marathi-speaking individuals and their families together to connect, celebrate, and enjoy our heritage of art, music, dance, and cuisine.
